Hi! My name is Tyson and I am currently a student at UC Berkeley studying Design Innovation and Data Science.
Coming from a hard of hearing background and bicultural upbringing, I lean on my unique experiences to design products that are accessible and human-centered.
I’m passionate about design that starts with real people, listens closely to their needs, and turns those insights into experiences that feel intuitive and genuinely helpful. I’m especially interested in the space where people and technology meet: I love designing products that bridge that gap, making technology feel more human, approachable, and worth connecting over.
My goal is to enrich others’ lives through compassionate design that makes everyday experiences better.

Redesigned the core operations dashboard in Figma, resolving 5+ KPI card gaps and aligning 20+ UI components with a Functional Requirements Document to improve data clarity for supply chain workflows.
Built and maintained a scalable design system with 15+ reusable components and 200+ icons, ensuring visual consistency across 3+ core platform modules including inventory and order management.

Led UX exploration of Gen Z dating behaviors, conducting research with 114+ survey respondents, 20+ interviews, and 4+ focus groups to inform product and experience design.
Synthesized findings into 3 core product directions, identifying patterns in trust, engagement, and authenticity to guide more meaningful and user-centered interaction flows on the dating platform.

Led end-to-end product design for Slide Social, building 20+ reusable components and variants and designing 6+ screens and user flows to establish a scalable design system and UX architecture.
Reduced event creation flow from 6+ steps to 3, simplifying the user's journey and improving spontaneous planning.
